Our Mission
Meal prepping saves time and money, but eating the same thing all week gets old. SwapMeet solves this by connecting you with home cooks in your area who are making different meals. Swap a batch of your chicken tikka for someone else's lasagna. Buy a portion of your neighbor's fresh pad thai for a fair price.
We are building a platform that strengthens local food communities, reduces food waste, and makes home-cooked variety accessible to everyone -- regardless of budget or cooking skill. Every transaction on SwapMeet is a chance to meet someone new and try something delicious.

Payment and Purchase Policy
SwapMeet facilitates peer-to-peer transactions between individual home cooks. When you purchase a meal, you are buying a homemade food item directly from the seller at the price they have set.
All payments are processed securely through Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. SwapMeet does not store your credit card number or payment details on our servers.
Prices are set by individual sellers and displayed in US Dollars (USD). The full amount is charged at the time of purchase. Sellers are responsible for fulfilling orders as described in their meal listing.
Refund Policy
If a seller fails to provide the meal as described, or if the meal is not delivered, you may request a refund by contacting us within 48 hours of your purchase. We will review the situation and process a full refund where appropriate.
Refunds are processed back to the original payment method and may take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement.
For swaps (non-monetary exchanges), disputes should be resolved directly between the parties involved through our in-app messaging. SwapMeet can mediate if needed.
Food Safety
All meals on SwapMeet are prepared by individual home cooks. SwapMeet does not inspect, certify, or guarantee the safety of any food listed on the platform. Sellers are responsible for following local food safety guidelines and accurately describing their meals, including ingredients and potential allergens.
Buyers are encouraged to communicate with sellers about ingredients, preparation methods, and any allergy concerns before completing a transaction.
